build a cultural bridge between the youths
of the community and the elders.
2. To promote harmony amongst the community
members and youths.
3. To support
cultural/entertainment/athletic activities
for the youth in the community.
4. To assist young people in the community
in their professional development through
other members who have already achieved
excellence in the field.
5. To create an atmosphere of collective
power amongst the youths.
6. To bring the entire community (first
generation immigrants and the US born/raised
youths of the community) together.
7. To prepare future leaders capable of
strengthening and leading the community in
the new millennium.
8. To help raise financial resources to
support KYA activities.
9. To act as a liaison between the elders
and youth of the community in cases of
